Metal stamping parts are the most commonly used parts in the field of metal processing and machinery manufacturing. Stamping processing is a processing method in which a metal strip is separated or formed by a mold. Its application range is very broad. The metal stamping parts processing materials are mainly hot-rolled or cold-rolled (mainly cold-rolled) metal strip materials, such as carbon steel, alloy steel, spring steel, galvanized, tinplate, stainless steel, copper and copper. Alloy plates, aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, etc. Today, the metal stamping parts slip line method is introduced.

The basic assumption of the slip line method is that the thickness of the sheet flange is constant and is in a plane strain state, the material is isotropic, no hardening, and the influence of the frictional force distribution on the plastic flow is not considered. There are two common basic methods.
Geometric mapping method:
The method was first proposed by R. Sowerby et al. They believed that the workpiece-to-blank mapping could be achieved according to certain assumptions without considering boundary conditions such as deformation force, stress-strain relationship and boundary friction.

Experience method:
The method is mainly based on some empirical calculation formulas, so its application range is affected, and it is mainly applied to the expansive stamping parts with simple shapes (such as rotating parts, curved parts, or stamping parts composed of these simple parts). In general, the method of developing the free-form surface of the plate type by experience is a method of ambiguity, and its accuracy is affected by many factors such as the richness of the user experience, the empirical formula used, and the selection of specific process parameters. Its accuracy needs to be further improved.
